Integrity Should Be a Marketing Component
As we begin the new year, integrity should be part of your resolutions. Integrity means actually doing what you say you're going to do. If you tell a client or a prospective client you're going to do such-and-such, you have to do it to have any integrity. Internally, integrity means doing what you've set out to do. It means keeping a checklist on each and every item on that checklist. If you can't be honest with yourself, how can you be honest with your potential clients? Discipline is key to this endeavor as well as maintaining a realistic "To Do" list. Measure your performance and make yourself accountable to the goals of your checklist. Any successful business is accountable and responsible. That's how trust is earned. Start with yourself. Once you've accomplished self-mastery, then hold your employees equally accountable. Your bottom line will improve and you'll have satisfied clients as well.
